MIUARA is a heart project at its very beginning. The name merges Miu and Ara—the founding duo—and reflects the spirit of unity we seek to foster in The Gambia, on Africa’s lush West Coast, where our vision is rooted.

Our vision is to build a physical creative space where children can paint and learn safely and freely, where young people can explore English, German and Swedish, and where the community connects through diverse creative projects and programs—a vibrant, welcoming place for art, language and cultural exchange.

The journey begins in late November 2025, taking us from Geneva to Banjul, the capital of The Gambia. We will be exploring potential locations, developing an initial concept, and speaking with the community to learn what they envision, what they need, and how they feel about the idea of our creative project.
